Harm Reduction family love feast will be offering dinner followed by a cacao ceremony lead by founder of Akashic Remedies, Le’ Jai’ La Troi and Paola Guerrero.

Cacao is known as theobroma cacao which derives from Greek meaning “food of the gods” Cacao is a great source of magnesium, vitamins, antioxidants, theobromine, releases serotonin and other endorphins. It a great plant to bring happiness and expand the heart space while aligning the mind. In this ceremony we will guide you through a healing sound journey.

About NYHRE

New York Harm Reduction Educators (NYHRE) is a non-profit social services organization devoted to promoting the health, safety and well-being of marginalized, low-income persons who use drugs, their loved ones and their communities using a harm reduction modality. This is a population that includes a large number of individuals that rely on commercial and survival sex for basic subsistence, people recently released from New York State and City correctional facilities, as well as a significant number of individuals who identify as LGBTQ or are engaged in same-sex relationships.
